But I keep walking with a past I never show

I see your name in every neon sign
But chasing ghosts won’t turn back time

난 거의 모르는 낯선 마을에서 깨어났어
신발엔 먼지, 라디오에선 침묵만이 흐르고
걸음마다 빌린 듯한 느낌이지만
나는 여전히, 결코 드러내지 않은 과거를 안고 걷고 있어

네온사인마다 너의 이름이 보여
하지만 유령을 쫓는다고 시간이 돌아가진 않지

우린 그저 빛 속의 재
밤이 오기 전 다시 불타려 애쓰고 있어
부서진 불꽃을 꼭 쥐고
우리 이름의 불길 속에서 춤을 춰
아파도, 무너져도
우린 한때 무언가였고, 이제 모든 걸 잃고 있어

그 마지막 날, 네 얼굴을 기억해
겨울 같은 눈, 끝내 말하지 못한 말들
우린 모래 위에 지은 세상의 왕이었고
나는 아직도, 아무도 없는 땅에서 네 손을 찾고 있어

진실은 언제나 균열과 상처 속에 있었지만
우린 마치 붕괴하는 별처럼 빛났지
